Frequently asked questions
How do I create or recover an account?
Sign up in the app with a username, email, and password. If you forgot your password, use “Forgot password” on the login screen — we will send a reset link to your registered email address.
How do I edit my profile?
Open your profile and tap Edit profile. You can update your display name, bio, photo, banner, location, website, and other public details from there.
How do posts, replies, likes, and reposts work?
Publish text and media from the compose screen. Reply to posts to join conversations. Like posts to show appreciation. Repost to share content to your followers, or quote to add your own comment above the original post.
How do direct messages work?
Open Messages to start or continue private conversations with other users. Messages are delivered in real time when both users are online. Message history is stored so you can read past conversations.
How do I manage notifications?
Go to Settings → Notifications to control push alerts for likes, replies, follows, mentions, direct messages, and other activity. You can also manage notification permissions in your device settings.
How do I block or report someone?
From a user’s profile or a post menu, you can block a user (they will not be able to interact with you) or report content/users that violate our rules. Reports are reviewed by our moderation team.
How does verification work?
Verified badges help users identify authentic or notable accounts. If verification is available for your account, you can submit a request from Settings. Our team reviews applications and may approve or deny them at our discretion.
How do I download my data?
Go to Settings → Privacy → Download your data. Mixtter will prepare an export of your account information and content. You will receive a notification when the file is ready to download.
How do I deactivate or delete my account?
In Settings → Account you can deactivate your account (temporary) or permanently delete it. Deletion removes your profile and associated personal data subject to our retention policy. This action may not be reversible.
How do I manage active sessions?
Settings → Security shows devices where you are signed in and your login history. You can sign out of other sessions remotely if you suspect unauthorized access.
Why was my account suspended?
Accounts may be suspended for violating our community rules, repeated reports, spam, abuse, or illegal activity. If you believe a suspension was a mistake, email arturoenqzsupport@gmail.com with your username and any relevant details.
